Enrolling in our school is an important and exciting process. We look forward to helping you make the process as easy as possible.

There are a few steps to follow to complete your enrolment

1. The enrolment application

Greenlands State School is an enrolment managed school. This means that families (especially those outside our catchment area) who wish to enrol with us must make their applications early to avoid disappointment.

Families who wish to enrol at our school must contact the school for an enrolment package and to make an enrolment interview time.

Please download our parent enrolment information sheet (PDF, 215KB). This document provides information about the enrolment process at our school. Please visit the school enrolment management plans to find more information about the school's catchment area.

  • Complete our enrolment form which will step you through all you need.
  • A separate application must be completed for each enrolling child.
  • Proof of child’s age must also be presented. An extract from the birth certificate or passport will be suitable. In the absence of either of these documents a Centrelink printout that specifies the child’s date of birth will be accepted.
Once this has been completed, an enrolment interview will be scheduled.

2. The enrolment interview

  • Discuss the details on your enrolment application
  • Organise uniforms, books and stationery
  • Complete an enrolment agreement

During the enrolment interview, the principal will briefly outline the school's programs and expectations. To provide more detail to parents, we also produce a range of parent information sheets. These are issued with enrolment packs or provided during the year.

3. Important policies to read and future reference material

Please read the following documents prior to the enrolment interview. Current information sheets include:

The school has two bus services. One from the Stanthorpe township (near YMCA) that is a fee-paying service and one from the Pikes Creek Exchange (Texas/Inglewood Road), which is funded by Qld Transport. Please download our bus routes (DOC, 43KB) which will explain the bus arrangements that service the school.

View the department's prep ready reckoner calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.

If you cannot download the document/s linked from this page, please contact us and we will provide a copy via the school office.
